Country of volcanoes, glaciers, Iceland is a land of contrast where the elements collide and reveal their dazzling nature.

Bernard Alligand used to blend a paint binder with sand, sulfuric sludge, ash from volcanoes, …  these collected materials are then dried, grinded, sifted, and integrated into his paintings.
