The renowned London gallery Agnews, founded in 1817, specializes in the sale of works by old and modern masters. To continue and strengthen this tradition, Agnews has founded a new company in Europe, located in Brussels. Under the direction of Eric Gillis and Noémie Goldman, formerly associated under the name “Gillis Goldman Fine Art”, the new gallery will participate in international fairs, organize exhibitions and present drawings, paintings and sculptures from the 19th to the early 20th century, as well as prints by old and modern masters. Eric Gillis and Noémie Goldman have an unrivalled reputation in these fields, and this new development will bring Agnews closer to private and institutional clients on both sides of the Atlantic. Together, the two companies will pursue their activities at major international art fairs and expand their exhibition programs in both Europe and the United States.
The new Agnews gallery in Brussels has been present at TEFAF Maastricht since 2023, under the name “Agnews Works on Paper”, continuing the work of Eric Gillis and Noémie Goldman in developing the market for works on paper.
