Artist Shoichi Hasegawa passed away in February 2023. Considered one of the major printmakers of our time, Shoichi Hasegawa, through his watercolors and engravings, has built a harmonious bridge between Japanese and Western aesthetics. The l’Estampe gallery has been exhibiting the artist for forty years, with ten exhibitions devoted to him, the last one took place in 2019, in his presence. The l’Estampe publishing house has produced over sixty editions of original prints with him since 1997. The gallery pays tribute to this world renowned artist, from April 03.
