Until 27th of July! The Académie des beaux-arts launched the Mario Avati Engraving Prize – Académie des beaux-arts 2023 – last June. Only a few days left to participate ! The winner will be awarded a cash prize equivalent in value to US $ 40,000. Tribute to Shoichi Hasegawa, the l’Estampe gallery

Artist Shoichi Hasegawa passed away in February 2023. Considered one of the major printmakers of our time, Shoichi Hasegawa, through his watercolors and engravings, has built a harmonious bridge between Japanese and Western aesthetics. The l’Estampe gallery has been exhibiting the artist for forty years, with ten exhibitions devoted to him, the last one took place in 2019, in his presence. The l’Estampe publishing house has produced over sixty editions of original prints with him since 1997. The gallery pays tribute to this world renowned artist, from April 03.

The CSEDT has commissioned the artist Judith Rotchild to produce a greetings card for 2023. “Autumn Leaves”, black etching printed in the artist’s studio in Octon, on 300g Hahnemülhe. Printed at 100 copies + 10 E.A., numbered and signed.
