“ABYSSES” by Fany Perret presents some thirty hand-coloured  engravings of corals, imaginary or real.

Exhibition from February 14 to March 3rd, 2020.

“ABYSSES” is a presentation of my whole work about prints and serigraphs inspired by the marine world.

In a camaïeu ranging from fluo red to soft pink, these prints are a reflection of my underwater world in the manner of a contemporary cabinet of curiosities, composed of real or totally imaginary elements”.

“Screenprinter and engraver (etching), I create pieces entirely handcrafted in limited series. I was trained at the Duperré school, at the Beaux-Arts then at the Ecole Nationale Supérieur des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, in engraving, screen printing, along with printing techniques, and finally with craftsmen who passed on their expertise and gave me an opportunity to emancipate myself in order to find my own way. My serigraph reproductions are made in limited series of 25 or in one-shot edition”.
