Detailed program:

Each year, the Arenthon gallery invites a contemporary photographer to exhibit, in dialogue with prints from its collection. This year, Emmanuel Biard has chosen to exhibit his black and white photographs alongside prints by Hans Bellmer and Stanley William Hayter. The selected works of these three artists evoke a nocturnal, organic and poisonous tale.

The Christian Collin gallery presents the latest creations of contemporary artists Hélène Bautista, Pablo Flaiszman, Atsuko Ishii, Laurent Letourmy, Corinne Lepeytre. The latest acquisitions in European Schools will also be exhibited.

The Lise Cormery gallery presents two exhibitions of prints, drawings and paintings. The first with works by Salvador Dali, Jean Carzou, Marie Laurencin, Moon Shin, Picasso, Félix Vallotton, Valtat, Veysset, Leonor Fini, Mario Avati…
A second exhibition in the Gallo-Roman parts of the gallery is devoted to Sacred Art with paintings, drawings and prints by Gilles Cormery, Bernard and François Baschet, Ciuha, Philippe Scrive, Boris Tabacoff, Claude Lhoste, Riu Min Ja, Ha Indoo, Kim Joo-Young, Zoric.

The Documents 15 gallery presents the exhibition of Czech artist Jan Vičar (b. 1967), the 2018 Mario Avati printmaking award. Entitled “En chemins” this one will be an opportunity to discover the recent works of this contemporary printmaker exploring the different possibilities of intaglio as well as the artist’s book “Hold” that he made in collaboration with the poet Sally Ball.

The Grillon gallery presents works on paper, watercolors, of the artist Joseph-Antoine d’Ornano
(Born in Nice in 1949).

The Coin des Arts – Le Marais presents a selection of lithographs by Bram Van Velde (1895-1981). Bram Van Velde was an extraordinary colorist. His compositions inspired by geometric forms show a dynamic very particular to the artist. We feel the mastery of a unique gesture, between flashes and temperance.
“My work is a leap towards life, towards the energy that makes life possible” Bram Van Velde

The Coin des Arts – Saint-Germain-des-Prés
Exhibition dedicated to the School of Paris: “School of Paris : Masterpieces

The Martinez D. gallery
The Gallery presents a selection of ancient, modern and contemporary works (Julie Allain, Jeanne Turroques, …)

The Martinez Fleurot gallery presents an exhibition of works of Hélène Bautista and Nathalie Grall.

The Nathalie Motte Masselink gallery
The Disegni Antichi exhibition highlights drawings executed in Italy by Italian, French, German and Dutch artists between the beginning of the 16th and the end of the 18th centuries. The diverse origins of the artists highlight the richness of artistic exchanges and influences in the peninsula during these three centuries. The exhibition includes preparatory studies for history scenes, landscapes, academies and copies from the past. Among the main drawings in the exhibition: an exceptional landscape study of the Sodoma, which offers here one of the first landscape drawings in European art executed on the spot. A beautiful sketch by Annibale Carracci of a scene from the Loves of the Gods, preparatory to the Farnese Gallery; a landscape by Nicolas Poussin, formerly owned by Pierre Crozat, in which the artist fully demonstrates his interest in architecture; and finally a beautiful Academy of Man as a Faun by Carle van Loo, which testifies to the important work of copying by artists from sculptures in order to appropriate the forms of the past. The exhibition will be accompanied by a paper catalog.

The Martine Namy-Caulier gallery presents two contemporary artists: Agathe Bouton and Bernard Munch. In Bernard Munch’s work, drawing leads us to his engraved work, as well as to his oil pastels and paintings. There is always an opening, a clear vision, revisited sensations but whose outcome is colors, life, learned elaboration of the beyond appearances.
Agathe Bouton is a French artist who lives and works on the East Coast of the United States in Philadelphia. Her work mixes printmaking techniques with painting. She draws her inspiration from the cultures and countries where she has lived. For the series “Vue de la Vitre”, composed of abstract landscapes and colored atmospheres, the artist has reworked in paint a previous series of monochrome carborundum prints.

The Paul Prouté gallery presents a temporary exhibition dedicated to the contemporary artist Michel Estèbe. Born in Talence in the Gironde in 1954, Michel Estèbe attended the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux. He first established himself as a printer-lithographer, then decided to devote himself fully to engraving in the 1980s. Initially engraving with a burin, then with the monochrome black manner, he became an adept of the black manner in color in 1991, a technique that he puts at the service of his shimmering compositions, which he prints himself.

The Sagot Le Garrec gallery presents new works with a selection of prints and drawings from the 19th century to today.

The Xavier Seydoux gallery presents new works with a selection of old prints.

The Tanakaya gallery presents an exhibition of prints by Hokusai and Hiroshige.
